Idle Balls – A game that looks like a Screensaver…

If you’re a fan of games such as Balls VS BlocksFlappy Dunk, or Ark O Ball, all by Voodoo Games, chances are you’ll like Idle Balls. Also by Voodoo Games…

For anyone who doesn’t know, Voodoo Games is a relatively new Indie Publishing team hidden behind a thick layer of Black Magic and secrecy… Although growing in popularity at a dizzying speed, what we know about these amazing guys is actually fairly limited.🙁

Anyway, getting back to our review, Idle Balls is a game that is likely best described as a cross between the popular game Ballz by Ketchapp and an abstract Windows Screensaver. Set on a stage filled with colorful circles each with a number inscribed at its center, your mission in this game is to tap on each circle in order to gain points and reduce the number at its center.

Once the number at the center of each circle reaches 0 the circle vanishes, and once there are no circles left on the stage you level up and the circles are re-generated. A typical clicker game… Not exactly…😜

Using the points you gain while eliminating circles, you can purchase balls which randomly bounce around the stage and reduce the size of whatever circles they bump into by 1, 10, 100, or even 100K!? By purchasing more and more balls you can speedily gain points which can then be used to purchase new balls and upgrades! endless🔄

Although we wouldn’t exactly call this game addictive since all you are really required to do is stare at your screen and purchase upgrades every once in a while, for players who were destroyed playing Ballz just one too many times, there is something about this game you will likely find strangely satisfying.

With way too many Ads and a mid-range set of graphics, and Idle Balls likely won’t become your next personal addiction. You’d be lucky if you lasted an hour…

However, as we stated above, there is something strangely satisfying about this game players who were 100% addicted to Ballz by Ketchapp will likely understand…
