TOFU GIRL (by JoyPac) is a very strange game we actually kind of like. Set on a block of wobbling tofu, your mission in this game is to help a tiny girl jump from one block of tofu to the next as they speedily slide in from either side of the screen.

For anyone who has played Stack Jump by voodoo, the concept is pretty much the same, relying on your ability to time your jumps perfectly in order to stay on top – if you’re having trouble picturing this, you can always watch the video below.

After playing the game for a while, one thing that immediately becomes apparent is just how well animated this game is. TOFU GIRL is a 2D game featuring highly animated Japanese manga-style graphics that make the overall gameplay feel incredibly smooth and natural.

Small things such as the way in which your character teeters on the edge of a block of tofu after a near-miss, or the way in which her clothes move can be so realistic, this is one of those games that is somehow satisfying just to look at.

If you love cute Japanese style art, this is one of those games you’re not going to want to miss. 😃
