/// Thank you for taking part in our latest Developer Spotlight! Before we start talking about Ultimate Gamer Quiz, could you please start by telling us a little about yourself and why you are making games?
I predominately work in a corporate environment which means that there isn’t always the opportunity to be creative. I decided to start making games as a way of opening a creative outlet that I can also turn into another business.
Right now, I’m purely making games with the intention of making people smile and possibly brightening their day. 😃
/// Moving on to Ultimate Gamer Quiz, in a nutshell, what is this new game all about?
Ultimate Gamer Quiz is a “picture quiz” game that focuses on gaming culture.
What sets Ultimate Gamer Quiz apart from other similar games is the attention to detail that has been put into the game’s retro theme and UI – *User Interface. The professionally designed images together with the game’s retro theme create a consistent and engaging user experience.
/// Every game has a backstory, and we would love to know the story behind Ultimate Gamer Quiz! Why did you choose to make this game?
I decided to make the Ultimate Gamer Quiz because of my love for all things gaming. I wanted to create a game that allowed gamers to test their general knowledge as well as discover new games they may have missed.
What the game also allows me to do is reuse the same template with new games that fall into the same Picture Quiz genre.

/// Are there any funny or exciting episodes from the development phase of Ultimate Gamer Quiz that you can share with us?
While developing the game I accidentally made a spelling mistake in one of the questions. When I got a friend to test the game for me, they came back and told me that they had been stuck on a level all day. Turns out the reason was that there was a missing “E” and they didn’t realize the spelling within the game was wrong. 😂
/// Where from here? Is there anything you would like to add to Ultimate Gamer Quiz in the future, or perhaps even a new game on the horizon?
I would like to expand on the number of questions in the game over time. I am currently going through new images that have been designed and will be releasing an update for Ultimate Gamer Quiz soon.
I would also like to continue expanding my portfolio of games and am currently working on a concept for a top-down RPG game at the moment.
/// Are there any secret developer tips for playing Ultimate Gamer Quiz you could give our readers?
You should always use the multiply coins option at the end of each level. It makes it much easier to build up some currency to help solve those more difficult levels. Also, don’t be disheartened by tough levels. The difficulty fluctuates in order to keep the game enjoyable.
