Star Loop by Kraftum Games – “Updated” Review

When we first reviewed Star Loop our sub heading was something like, “So close it’s painful! (Never judge an app by its icon!)” Well, things have changed… This is our Re-Review of Star Loop.

Star Loop “was” a game so close it was painful, the graphics, the gameplay, the audio, everything was so perfect, so carefully crafted… it seemed the developers had forgotten about the icon…

Although an app icon may only seem like a tiny fraction of a game’s overall brilliance, an icon that reflects the inner brilliance of the game found inside is an essential aspect of gamedev, that must not be taken lightly.

It seems the developers of this game understood exactly what we were talking about…!

Based around a new yet simple circular space shooter concept, this game is played using a number of different swipe and tap gestures to change direction, perform barrel rolls, and of course shoot.

Once you’ve played the game a few times most players should get the hang of things rather quickly, allowing for more time to actually observe the truly remarkable graphics.

The game concept, game quality, and graphics found inside the game were so incredible, we found it extremely unfortunate that the developers of Star Loop didn’t have an icon that reflected their game’s inner brilliance… Now they do!

Star Loop is – and always was – a brilliant game, only now it’s fitted with a beautiful icon that not only reflects the game inside, but magnifies it!

With an icon so matching the user experience, this game is now a game much harder to skip over when scrolling through numerous apps in app stores.

If you’re looking for a game that is not only beautiful on the outside but also in the inside, here one is!
