Stairs – The stairway to heaven…😇 Literally…😱

Are you a fan of the classic blue and white colors previously used in almost 90% of all Ketchapp games? If so, today we’ve got the first game from Ketchapp in quite a while with the same look and feel as the classic games that made Ketchapp one of the hottest indie game publishers on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Stairs (by Ketchapp and Yuri Sanachev) is a game about endlessly climbing a spike-covered staircase in an attempt to survive for as long as possible… Don’t worry, you probably won’t last much longer than 1 minute…😅\

With small white indicators on each of the stairs representing where you need to jump in order to achieve a perfect landing, Stairs allows you to quickly build up an amazingly high score by continually landing in this small perfect zone. Each time you land in the perfect zone, you are given an extra point until you reach +5 points – at which point you are given +5 points for every perfect landing you make plus +1 for every spike on the particular stair you landed on.

This very generous system allows you to quickly build up a satisfyingly high score, you can share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!

Although having a great score to share with your friends is fun, so is unlocking new skins for your player which is, unfortunately, almost impossible! Although you will probably eventually collect enough gems playing the game, (and watching Ads), to unlock 1 or 2 new skins, most players will most probably never unlock more than 2 new skins…

With simple swipe-based controls, not too many Ads, and a whole heap of skins you will probably never unlock, Stairs is yet another fun game from Ketchapp and Yuri Sanachev for you to add to your collection!

The Conclusion

If you’re a fan of the classic minimalist 3D graphics used in almost every ketchup game until Ballz took over the App Store and Google Play, this is the game for you. Great graphics, great gameplay, and great skins you will probably never unlock…😅

Maybe giving players more than 1 gem per-diamond would help boost engagement…? Who knows…?
