Spiral – This game is simply impossible…

Are you a fan of impossible games? If so, chances are you’ve just stumbled upon your next big mobile gaming addiction! Otherwise, this is our review of a great game we think has taken “addictive-impossibleness” just a little too far…

Spiral is a very good looking game, to say the least. Featuring Ketchapp’s usual colorful yet minimal design, a simple one-touch gameplay system and plenty of themes to customize the look and feel of the game overall, Spiral is a very nicely polished game.

Because this game is so wonderfully polished, it is extremely unfortunate that Spiral isn’t really all that fun or addictive. (Please note, this is our team’s personal preference.)

Set on an endless path that wraps around a large circular cylinder, your mission in this game is to jump over obstacles that block your path by tapping on the screen of your device, and to collect gems you can use to unlock new themes. Very straight forward.

Although the concept for the game is simple and easy to follow, actually playing the game is an entirely different story. Each jump/tap, must be made at surgically precise intervals in order to successfully clear the top of each obstacle, something most people likely won’t excel at.

If you’re used to playing games that require you to react at lightning fast speeds, (0.1 of a second!), Spiral is going to be a walk in the park! ….otherwise, good luck…

Do you think you have what it takes to take on the formidable Spiral by Ketchapp?
If so, all we can say is, we wish you the best of luck…
