Ninja Dude vs Zombies 2 – Can you keep your tower standing?

Tower defense games are cool. For anyone who has ever been addicted to a tower defense game, you know how good it feels to choose when and where to construct new defenses capable of fending off huge hordes of enemy forces!

Unfortunately(?) this isn’t one of those games…

Ninja Dude vs Zombies 2 (by AdoreStudio) is a game that puts you atop one of those very defense towers capable of fending off huge hordes of enemy forces! …and boy are there a lot of enemies you’ll need to fend off!

Played by tapping on the left and right sides of the screen in order to throw ninja stars down at enemies closing in from below, Ninja Dude vs Zombies 2 is one of the easiest games to learn and master we’ve reviewed in a long time.

So long as you don’t tap before the enemy passes the “Death Line” in most cases you can destroy each enemy with a single hit, and if you really need help, you can set up to 2 special attacks which make the game even easier still!

The only problem with this “generally easy” gameplay mechanic is that it takes a real hit once you make it to your first boss battle which (in some cases) can be almost impossible to clear! We’re guessing this is due to how the boss and enemy movements are randomized, but we played 2 games where the boss battle was virtually impossible which isn’t great for Ninja Dude vs Zombies 2 when it comes to addictiveness.

Hopefully, this will be fixed sometime soon!

With a bunch of different characters and skins for you to unlock, as well as special shuriken with powerful abilities, this is a game we kind of wished we had reviewed a little later – because once this game is polished free of any post-release imbalances, it will definitely be a whole lot harder to put down… 😅

We’re looking forward to seeing how this game develops.

Do you have what it takes to defend your tower from a hungry horde of climbing zombies? I guess there is only really one way for you to find out…
