Pancake Art (by Homa Games) is an incredibly satisfying game about pancake art.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past decade and have no life, no social media, and no friends, you’ve likely seen someone posting pictures or videos of pancake art on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. The craze is kind of unstoppable at the moment.
So for anyone who loves pancakes and would like to try making some super cute pancake art of their own but sadly does not have the skills to draw cute anime characters while cooking on a hot stove, Homa Games has created a game just for you.
Pancake Art (i.e. the game) is a game about making super cute pancakes by simply tapping and holding on the screen of your device. Which not only sounds simple, it is simple!
As of right now (we are on level 20) the only enemy or obstacle we’ve encountered is a floating white ball that knocks you back a few moves, forcing you to re-draw a line or two in your art if you bump into it.
For the likely target audience of this game, the fact that this game is easy is great! If you’ve ever had a kid such as your son, daughter, cousin, brother, sister, or anyone else for that matter(!) burst into your room demanding that you help them clear a difficult level, you probably know what I’m talking about…
Unfortunately for older players, this also means that the game gets fairly repetitive very quickly since the game isn’t really all that hard or challenging.
Also, the fact that you make beautiful looking pancakes, drizzle maple syrup all over them, and then don’t get to eat them is kind of frustrating for a true pancake lover. If only you could actually eat the digital pancakes you make in this game 😂
