Dash Valley – Slow motion paradise!!! 😆😆

Who doesn’t love a great slow-motion scene in a movie? Slow motion scenes are awesome, which makes it really weird that mobile game developers have only just started using it in the games they develop for iOS and Android.

If it weren’t for the slow motion in this game, Dash Valley (by Madbox) would be a fast-paced avoider game about a ball that zips around the screen so fast you have literally no way of controlling it. Luckily this isn’t the case… 😂

Played by tapping and dragging on the screen of your device in order to sort of slingshot your ball around the screen, absolutely everything in this game slows down the moment you touch the screen of your device – needless to say, this looks awesome!

We would almost say it is well worth downloading Dash Valley just to experience what it feels like to aim and shoot your player through tiny gaps in Dash Valley’s minimalistic 2D stages. Although what you are doing isn’t actually all that difficult, you sort of feel amazing after playing a few rounds of this game… 💪

For anyone wondering, Dash Valley is a level based game meaning there is a set start and end on every stage and the game slowly increases in difficulty over time, which obviously makes the game much, much easier for new players to get the hang of – unlike the endless type games that plagued the App Store a few years ago.

One thing we did notice which could probably be taken as a negative was how the game handles Ads – as of right now. For starters, there are a lot of Ads in this game, which is annoying, but probably necessary, we understand that. What we don’t understand are these strange loading sections on the GAME OVER screen we guess are also supposed to also be Ads(?) but instead simply display a loading bar which got us really confused the first few times we played the game.

Somehow I don’t think it will be too long before someone invents an Ad-Block for mobile games… (Bring it on!)

Other than that, the game looks great, is simple and easy to play, and makes you feel just a little cooler after playing the game than you did beforehand… What more could you ask for?

The Conclusion

If you love slow-motion graphics it’s a no-brainer, you need this game. Although we have reviewed quite a few different games where slow-motion graphics were the core selling point, we’ve never featured one quite as good as this! 😆

Pure awesomeness! Until you hit an Ad… 😂
