Tiny Chick by ZPLAY – Review

Have you ever sat down and had a serious discussion with a small child? If you haven’t you should really try it sometime, because the fantastically crazy, “out of the box” ideas these small people come up with are truly remarkable.

Today we’ve got a game everyone knows, “Flappy Bird” redesigned from the perspective of well… a Tiny Chick…

Tiny Chick is Flappy Bird. (There is nothing original about this game, so if you’re after something “new” or “revolutionary”, you’ve found the wrong game.) Instead Tiny Chick offers a new story, the story of Flappy Bird before he could “Flap”.

Have you ever wondered how “Flappy Bird” managed to get places before he could fly? We didn’t, but it seems someone with an open mind did, and created Tiny Chick a game based around jumping through pipes.

With similar controls to most sling shot type games, in this game your character – a super cute duckling – starts off on the ground, and jumps its way through as many pipes as possible before finally crashing into a wall and game over.

Though the concept is exactly the same as flappy bird, the angle at which it approaches the same base idea is so completely different, Tiny Chick though “not original” is actually an amazing new game. We highly recommend developers thinking about making a Flappy Bird clone see this game.

Tiny Chick is another one of those games that show you don’t have to be original to be awesome. Though being original is important, making something simple and fun is essential, and this game does simple and fun brilliantly.

If you’re after a cute flappy bird style jumper – we didn’t even know they existed – here it is!
