The Line Zen by Ketchapp – Review

Have you ever heard of “Zen?” Its official definition, according to the Urban Dictionary, is “A total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind.” Today we’d like to share with you a game you’ll need a little “Zen” in order to play…

The Line Zen is a game that requires a lot of focus. Your mission in this game is to carefully guide one lone “Blue” ball through a maze of traps and obstacles without touching a single “red” object,

i.e. almost everything…

Your controls to achieve this are extremely simple, first touch anywhere on the screen, then move your finger left or right in order to move your player left or right. You’re not going to find controls much easier than this!

Once you’ve played the game a few times, you’ll soon begin to notice patterns in the levels – not that it makes the game any easier. First you’ll have a long winding “Corridor” linked to a “Larger open space,” which in turn feeds back into a small “Corridor.” Most of the time it will be the “Larger open spaces” that kill you.

These spaces are filled with traps that are designed to break your focus. Suddenly stationary obstacles will fly at you, while other times, bucket-loads of “green” obstacles – which don’t kill you – mixed in with just a few red particles, will fly at you from all directions, pushing you way off course and often into something fatal…

If you ever wanted to become a buddhist monk full of self control, or happen to already be one, The Line Zen is a game that will really put your training to the test.

For “normal” people, our one line of advice is, “Good luck…😅”
