Our interview with the LEAF Games & Software Team, the creators of The Bounce Master

The Bounce Master is an amazingly addictive puzzle game. Based around the simple concept of shooting a ball from a cannon and landing it in a portal. Overall, the game is mostly made up of simple 2D physics and effects… Awesome Effects!

Today we would like to share with you our interview with the LEAF Games & Software Team the creators of The Bounce Master.

Before we start, we’d like to thank the LEAF Team for participating in our interview, and for spending some of their valuable time answering our questions. Thanks guys!

Now without any further ado, our interview begins.

 

So, how long have you been making Apps or Games for?

LEAF Games & Software came to light in January 2015. We are an Italian indie company creating mobile apps and PC games. Our free apps are already available on Google Play and the Apple App Store and we are in R&D phase for lots of other projects.

All LEAF Games & Software products are created from scratch by a young development team. We believe in originality and uniqueness of ideas. We want to offer unique products and grant a fun gaming experience to people of all ages and ensure fun and excitement for gamers, exactly what we demand ourselves!

 

So this obviously isn’t your first creation then?

No, The Bounce Master is our fourth.

 

What do you use to make your apps or games?

We develop our games with Unity.

 

So, tell us about your app!

The Bounce Master is a challenging geometry puzzle game inspired by old-school minimal graphics in which you have to combine a limited number of bounces, the right trajectory, and the perfect timing to shatter the target.

The gameplay is simple and intuitive: tap on the screen to let the cannon shoot at the right time. If you make a mistake, you can simply tap again on the cannon, before all bounces are used, to restart the level.

A few elements compose the game: the black background, white walls, and obstacles, the yellow cannon always in movement, and the blue target. The ball can bounce on every white figure. Sometimes the ball will have to bounce on squares, triangles, and circles, other times it will have to avoid the obstacles by moving in perfect synchronism with them.

In some levels, there are special items: teleporter, magnet, and a vortex which you can use to make the trajectory of the shot change or to save or increase the number of bounces available.

We’ve always liked the retro atmosphere and impossible puzzle games so we mixed both aspects to create this game for all retro game lovers. Recalling the simplicity and the great sound of retro-games, The Bounce Master does not want to be just a tribute to video games who have made history, but also a really hard game. We like to imagine people challenging their friends to be the best and we also challenge our followers to complete all the levels before we release the next update.
