Are you enjoying Super Cat Tales!? We are(!) and so today we are super excited to bring your our interview with the amazing developers of Super Cat Tales, the Neutronized Team!

If you haven’t checked out our original review you can do that here.

With super high-quality graphics, some of the easiest controls ever, and a cute storyline to bind everything together, you won’t regret downloading this game.

Before we start, we’d like to thank the Neutronized Team for participating in our interview, and for spending some of their valuable time answering our questions. Thanks guys!

Now without any further ado, our interview begins.

Ok first up, why did you decide to make Super Cat Tales?

I wanted to come up with a proper platform game for touch devices. There are many nice platforms out there on mobile but they all rely on virtual keys or unusual auto-run or auto-jump gimmicks.

The idea was to have a traditional platform game inspired by the old glories of the 80s/90s.

Was this game a super cute game from the beginning?

Yes, the original idea was to create a nice and happy environment where the player could feel relaxed while playing the game.

Ok, here is a difficult question. What was the hardest problem you needed to overcome when developing this game?

The hardest problem was to polish and tweak the touch controls in order to make them as easy to pick up as possible.

Last question. Where do you get your inspiration or ideas from?

Inspiration comes from games like Super Mario World or Kirby’s Dream Land 3.
