Smashing Rush – Avoid everything! But fruit and soda! 😂

Smashing Rush

Have you always had this secret fascination with free running? Free running is cool! Especially when you’re watching it on YouTube, and you don’t see the failed attempts and “potential” death involved with missing a jump…

Smashing Rush (by Cold Soda) is a side-scrolling low poly free running avoider game for iOS and Android that, simply put, just works!

Played by tapping on the left and right sides of the screen in order to “Jump” and “Boost” Smashing Rush is less about avoiding obstacles, and more about speedily collecting fruit and sugary soft drink within a given amount of time in order to make it to the goal with a perfect 3-star score!

Being a level based game, the higher levels will obviously put more emphasis on avoiding deadly obstacles, however for new players, Smashing Rush does a great job of easing gamers into the game which is not only appreciated but most probably adds to the game’s addictive nature. The better you are at a game the harder it is to put it down…

With 3 game modes for you to choose from Stage Mode, Endless Mode, and Challenge Mode, this game should keep you entertained with its artistic low-poly visuals and simple controls.

If we were to complain about one thing, the only real thing we could complain about is the relatively small hitbox on some of the fruit we are supposed to be collecting. When playing the game just sometimes we missed an item that we expected our player to easily collect – however this could also be attributed to our skills at playing the game so… 😂😅

Overall there really isn’t a lot to complain about in Smashing Rush!

The Conclusion

If you want to parkour without the danger of dying, why not practice in a game? Chances are it will “actually” have no positive (or negative) impacts on your ability to parkour in real life… 😂
