These past few weeks we have found quite a few new and exciting Shoot ’em up style space shooters with one key feature in common, “They are all modernized.” And so, today we’ve got a game from the opposite end of the genre, a super retro space shooter.
Pixel Craft is an action packed Bullet Hell style Shoot ’em up from the Appsolute Team. Cram packed with all sorts of crazy gimmicks and features, this game will require you to focus all of your attention on the action taking place before you just to keep sight of your spacecraft.
Pixel Craft is a game you can quite literally lose yourself in and GAME OVER before you can even figure out what hit you.
Although the simple, (Touch and Drag controls), make is easy to navigate your way around the stage, the crazy number of enemy crafts, flashing alert signals, spinning bullets, and softly glowing power-ups can sometimes get a little confusing, to say the least.
Once you get used to following your player on a heavily overcrowded screen and have adjusted the sensitivity level of the controls to fit your needs, you can finally step back for a moment and admire the wonderfully retro graphics featured in Pixel Craft.
With graphics that look like they were taken straight from an arcade machine, Pixel Craft turns your modern smartphone into a snapshot of the past.
