Land Snake.io – You saw the Ads, We played the game

If you’ve checked up on your Social Media within the last week or so, there is a high chance you’ve come across today’s game before. Land Snake.io is currently a heavily advertised mobile game we may, (or may not), be able to recommend…

Set on a hexagonal 2D stage, your mission in this game is to circle large chunks of land in order to claim it as your own. As a new player, you basically have 1 of 2 choices, circle land that already belongs to someone else or mind your own business – claiming land that is unoccupied.

Depending on which route you choose, the number of times you die in this game will vary drastically!💀 …which is actually incredibly important considering just how many Ads there are in this game!

Although the number of Ads shown almost seemed to die down over time(?), upon first installing/testing the game, we were hit with an avalanche of Advertisements which doesn’t exactly make a great first impression…

Now, when it comes to playing the game, Land Snake.io is actually pretty good. With a single on-screen joystick that allows you to control your ever-moving player as it speedily zips around the stage, Land Snake.io is a surprisingly easy game to play once you get the hang of things.

With 3 main game modes, (Endless Mode, Props Mode, and Time Mode), for you to try out and no need for an internet connection while playing the game, which means you can play offline! …and which also means this game isn’t “actually” an .io game…

Land Snake.io is a kind of cool game with kind of too many ads…

The Conclusion

Would we recommend downloading this game? “Probably not”

Although a good game overall, with similar titles such as Clash.io by Ketchapp featuring almost identical gameplay with fewer ads, and Paper.io by Voodoo which features a similar number of ads yet has a better gameplay system overall, unfortunately, we aren’t too sure exactly how many players will enjoy this game…
