Hamza Meer’s review of .PXL

At first glance, you see the minimal graphics and wonder what could be special about this game, well after playing it for longer than I’d care to admit, I loved the uniqueness of it! If you’re expecting a Flappy clone, this game will totally change your expectations.

.PXL is very similar to the infamous Flappy Bird, except the difference would be this game doesn’t make you want to throw your phone against the wall. You’ll tap to make the little dot float up and avoid the boxes scattered in your way, which by the way, aren’t like the boring old pipes from Flappy Bird.

From vertical rectangles, horizontal rectangles, square boxes, and simply sick light effects, this game brings out a beauty with its minimal style art. On another plus point, touching the floor doesn’t kill you, which is great for those levels where going through the obstacles would mean risking destruction.

As a developer and an avid gamer, this game definitely hit a sweet spot when it comes to passing time, and with the super sick music playing in the back, I definitely never got bored with .PXL (Seriously, the music is very catchy)!

For gamers who like a moderately high difficulty level and want to see minimal graphics executed amazingly, .PXL should definitely be on your list of games to download!
