Gate Rusher – Simple, cool, and actually not that hard…

Both Voodoo and Ketchapp are interesting companies. Although there are probably a million bad rumors about them on Reddit, you can’t deny the games they publish can be kind of cool, and Gate Rusher is no exception.

Gate Rusher (by Voodoo and TryMyGames) looks like a fast-paced avoider game, and well, it sort of is… Set in a half-pipe filled with gates your ball will need to pass through in order to make it to the end in one piece, Gate Rusher is well… actually kind of slow… 😅

Either “everyone” at Edamame Reviews has suddenly gotten way better at playing video games, or this game is actually a lot easier than most games we’ve seen from Voodoo in the past few months. Sadly for us, we suspect it’s the latter…

Featuring a level based gameplay system, Gate Rusher starts out slow and easy and remains that way for a surprisingly long time. Where most games from Voodoo seemed as though they were designed to kill you, Gate Rusher starts out simple and remains simple, allowing you to build up your skills at a faster rate than the game’s difficulty increases.

Although this may not necessarily be a good thing for skilled players – for players who normally find popular avoider games difficult, Gate Rusher is an awesome little game to have on your iPhone.

Obviously, you’ll be watching quite a few ads though… 👾

The Conclusion

If you’re in need of a super simple 3D avoider game you can play on your iOS device that is simple and easy to play, this is the game for you.

If however, you’re good at this type of game, maybe you could try playing it behind your back, while blindfolded… #IMPOSSIBLE!!
