Chase & Hunt

In the comments of the review request for Chase & Hunt, RGB Game Studios told us about how their mission was to bring PC/Console like gaming to mobile devices. We’ll they pretty much did just that.

In Chase & Hunt your job is to guide a massive eagle over scorching deserts, sparkling lakes, and even old castle ruins in search of prey. The 3D experience in this game is amazing! When diving down for a catch, it nearly seems as if you can feel the wind rushing past… The graphics are truly amazing, especially considering it is a mobile app.

Now for people so used to smartphone gaming they’ve forgotten what PC/console gaming is supposed to be like; this game is not easy… During our testing we managed to catch 4 rabbits and 1 snake total. Plus, it was on easy mode! This isn’t the sort of game you’d want to play while half asleep in bed, you really need an awful lot of concentration just to get close to catching something, let alone actually getting it.

If we had to find one bad point in this game, other than the fact that it literally obliterated our whole review team with its difficulty, it would have to be the app icon. The graphics inside the game vs. outside are so different! This may be a secret marketing tactic planned deliberately by RGB Game Studios, but if not, it would be nice if the icon looked as cool as the game inside.

If you’re interested in testing out your skill as an eagle, this is the game.

The graphics are truly amazing!

As for us, I think we still need flying lessons…
