Ball King by Qwiboo Ltd. looks and, besides the fact that your using a touch screen instead of an old fashion chunky controller, feels like a game you’d find on an old gaming console.
Now, the graphics can be rather deceiving. The physics engine behind the 8 bit interface is awesome.
At first I sort of expected the ball to move as you’d expect in, well an old game. My expectations where wrong… very wrong…
There are so many variables to take into account, such as: the throw speed and angle; the bounciness of the ball; the tilt of the basket when the ball hit’s it; add wind speed and direction into that and you have Ball King.
Though the outside shell may look a little cheap, the inside is insane.
If you are looking for a super easy to play a basketball game with real life like difficulty, we’d love to see you try Ball King.
